Expand description

An element of a segment with what music21 keeps on it while transcribing: where it stands, its affinity, how it sorts, its English, its note context, and a key signature’s predecessor.

Fields§

§element: StreamElement

A copy of the element, changed as music21 changes it.

§offset: FloatType

Its offset in its measure or voice.

§affinity: Affinity

Its affinity.

§sort_order: i32

How it sorts among elements at its offset: music21’s classSortOrder as braille sets it.

§english: Option<Vec<String>>

Its English: music21’s editorial.brailleEnglish.

§context: NoteContext

Its slurs and beams, for a note.

§outgoing_key: Option<Option<IntegerType>>

The key signature before it, for a key signature: music21’s outgoingKeySig.

§leaf: usize

Where its leaves start in the part, to find what music21 marked on it.

§voice_english: Vec<Option<Vec<String>>>

For a voice, the English of each element it holds once written, nothing for one not written.
