Expand description

The options music21’s translation takes, as a segment reads them.

Fields§

§cancel_outgoing_key_sig: bool

Whether a key signature cancels the one before it.

§descending_chords: Option<bool>

Whether chords are written from the top down; nothing reads as upward until a clef says otherwise.

§dummy_rest_length: Option<usize>

How many dummy rests open each segment.

§max_line_length: usize

How many cells a line holds.

§show_clef_signs: bool

Whether clefs are written.

§show_first_measure_number: bool

Whether a segment starts with its first measure’s number.

§show_hand: Option<Hand>

Which hand’s sign starts the lines.

§show_heading: bool

Whether a segment starts with a heading.

§show_long_slurs_and_ties_together: Option<bool>

Whether a long slur and a tie on one note are both written.

§show_short_slurs_and_ties_together: bool

Whether a short slur and a tie on one note are both written.

§slur_long_phrase_with_brackets: bool

Whether a long phrase’s slur is written with brackets rather than doubled.

§suppress_octave_marks: bool

Whether octave marks are left out.

§upper_first_in_note_fingering: bool

Whether a fingering’s upper choice is written first.
