Every ornament on note played in turn: music21’s expressions.realizeOrnaments, where each ornament realizes what the one before left of the note and an ornament that takes the whole note ends the walk.

music21’s stream.makeNotation.realizeOrnaments is a different function of the same name: it hands each ornament the note as it stands, and writes the realizations into a stream of its own.

Any ornament that cannot realize what it is given.
