A finger on a string at a fret: music21’s FretNote. Strings count from the highest-sounding, one, as guitarists count them.

Fields

string: Option<IntegerType>

The string.

fret: Option<IntegerType>

The fret, nought for the open string.

fingering: Option<IntegerType>

The finger.

display_finger_number: bool

Whether the finger is shown: music21’s displayFingerNumber.
