Horizontality

Struct Horizontality

Source
pub struct Horizontality<'t, 'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

One part’s timespans one after another: music21’s Horizontality.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'t, 'a> Horizontality<'t, 'a>

Source

pub fn timespans(&self) -> &[&'t ElementTimespan<'a>]

The timespans, in order.

Source

pub fn has_passing_tone(&self) -> bool

Whether the first pitches of the first three rise all the way or fall all the way: music21’s hasPassingTone.

Source

pub fn has_neighbor_tone(&self) -> bool

Whether the first and third of the first three are the same pitch and the second is less than three semitones from them: music21’s hasNeighborTone.

Source

pub fn has_no_motion(&self) -> bool

Whether every timespan sounds the same pitches, written alike: music21’s hasNoMotion. music21 gathers the pitches in a set, which tells apart pitches equal but for how their accidentals are shown or whether their spelling was worked out, so this does too.
