Where realize_volume looks for the dynamic a note sounds under: music21’s useDynamicContext, which is True, False or a Dynamic.

Variants

FromStream

The dynamics in the stream, each in force until the next. A note before the first of them sounds under none.

Ignored

No dynamic at all.

Fixed(Dynamic)

One dynamic for everything, whatever the stream holds.
